أعلن رئيس المجلس التنفيذي في حزب الله علي دعموش في 13 تشرين الأول أن الحزب سيدفع للعائلات التي دُمّرت منازلها 14 ألف دولار في بيروت والضاحية و12 ألفاً في المناطق الأخرى، بينها 8 آلاف للأثاث، بحسب «أسوشيتد برس»، من دون تحديد عدد المستفيدين أو الكلفة.

ورجّحت الوكالة أن تكون الأموال إيرانية، فيما قال المتحدث باسم الخارجية الأميركية تومي بيغوت لموقع «هنا بيروت» إن «الأموال التي يعد بها حزب الله غير موجودة». ويهدف اتفاق الإطار الموقّع في 26 حزيران إلى إبعاد أموال الإعمار عن الجماعات المسلحة غير الحكومية.
