Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel's army will remain in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah is disarmed, and that he does not trust the Lebanese government to do it, L'Orient-Le Jour, L'Orient Today and Ici Beyrouth reported.

Israel occupies a strip up to 10 km deep behind what it calls the "Yellow Line". President Aoun says Israel has not complied with June's framework agreement, which provides for a phased withdrawal as the Lebanese army deploys.

A Lebanese military delegation is due in Tampa on Tuesday to press for a halt to strikes.
