Políticos libaneses conmemoraron el asesinato del general Wissam al-Hassan, jefe de inteligencia de las Fuerzas de Seguridad Interna, muerto con un ayudante en un coche bomba en Ashrafieh, Beirut, el 19 de octubre de 2012.

Murieron ocho personas y cerca de 80 resultaron heridas. Dirigía entonces la parte libanesa de la investigación del asesinato de Rafic Hariri en 2005.

Ahmad al-Hariri dijo que «pagó con su sangre» por proteger al Líbano, y el diputado Fouad Makhzoumi habló de fidelidad a la soberanía, según MTV Lebanon.

Nadie ha rendido cuentas. Lebanese Lobby defiende una justicia independiente y la verdad en cada asesinato político.
