يناقش مسؤولون حكوميون واقتصاديون ومصرفيون خطة ائتمان بقيمة ملياري دولار، بحسب ورقة عمل حصلت عليها «الشرق الأوسط»، ولم تُقرّ بعد: مليار للأفراد (منها 400 مليون لقروض السيارات و600 مليون لقروض شخصية) ومليار للشركات (700 مليون لرأس المال التشغيلي و300 مليون لتحديث الآلات)، بتمويل شبه كامل من احتياطات مصرف لبنان المقدّرة بنحو 11.6 مليار دولار.

وتتوقع الورقة نشاطاً اقتصادياً بنحو 2.95 مليار دولار وإيرادات للدولة تصل إلى 574 مليوناً في السنة الأولى. غير أن مصادر في المصرف المركزي أكدت لـLBCI هذا الأسبوع أن الاحتياطات ملك المودعين، الذين لا يزالون يسحبون بين 500 و1000 دولار شهرياً.
